Maserati Certified Used Vehicle Program

Maserati is one of the most recent automakers to create a certified used vehicle program. To make sure that all certified pre-owned Maserati vehicles are genuinely worthy of the name, they have established a program called Trident Discoveries. The program offers one year of coverage with unlimited mileage.

Maserati Trident Discoveries

For the US, the eligible models must be a used Maserati in excellent condition that is no older than five years and has not been driven more than 90,000 miles – as per the odometer reading. Once these requirements have been met, the vehicle must complete several checkpoints like:

• Pass Maserati’s technical checklist to make sure the vehicle is of the highest standard.
• The interior and exterior of the vehicle must be in excellent condition and that the vehicle is top running condition.
• All the scheduled maintenance services must have been done as outline by Maserati and completed by authorized Maserati technicians.
• All product recalls and service measures need to have been taken care of by Maserati.
• The vehicle can’t have been involved in a serious accident or tampered with in any way.
• The vehicle can’t have been involved in motor sports or racing of any kind.

When this is all complete and acceptable, the Maserati becomes a Maserati Trident Discoveries Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Maserati does something else different as well in that this designation stands even if during the coverage period the vehicle ages past five years or exceeds the maximum mileage for the model. The certification can be transferred to a new owner if the vehicle is sold by sending in a coupon that is available through the Trident Discoveries booklet.

Maserati North America also offers Road Side Assistance automatically to the new owner of a Maserati Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

The Roadside Assistance program is available in the US and Canada every day of the year for 24 hours a day. There is always someone available to help at the end of the toll free line. It is not the same roadside assistant program for new Maserati vehicles but it is close. Services covered for the Maserati Trident Discoveries Certified Pre-Owned include:

• Provided by the service is transportation to the nearest authorized Maserati dealership in the event that the vehicle suffers a complete breakdown and cannot be repaired at the time by the Roadside Assistance technician.
• If the vehicle requires more than a quick repair and needs to stay overnight at the repair shop, there is limited rental reimbursement and travel assistance available depending on some of the circumstances. There is a detailed booklet available on the Maserati Roadside Assistance Program. A copy will be provided with the purchase of a Maserati Certified Pre-Owned vehicle.

Extended warranty

Maserati also offers an extended warranty service available for all the Quattroporte models. Existing owners can purchase this option, which will extend the coverage for an additional year after the original warranty expires. This extra coverage can bring peace of mind and comes with the advantage of being eligible for financing through the Maserati Financial program.
