Saturn cars first went on sale in 1991 and were aimed at the entry-level crowd. Starting in 2007, Saturn began overhauling its lineup and brand image with the introduction of the Sky, Aura and Outlook. The new direction Saturn is going in should help the brand compete more effectively against Japanese and European cars with a more refined drivetrain and suspension tuning and cleaner, more inspired designs. The Aura quickly gained attention by attaining the 2007 North American Car of the Year award. The Saturn current lineup includes two cars, two crossover SUVs and a roadster. As with other GM vehicles, the convenience of OnStar is standard on Saturn vehicles is free for the first year.
