Honda answer to the Chevy Avalanche came in the form of the Ridgeline in 2005. The Ridgeline offers many features not available on other pickup trucks including independent rear suspension and the built-in storage compartment in the bed. Sharing a basic chassis with the Honda Pilot allows the Ridgeline to offer the usefulness of a conventional pickup truck with the ride quality and fuel economy that Honda is known for. The Honda Ridgeline comes with a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 20 mpg on the highway.
