I recently had repairs done like- front brakes, thermostat, serpentine belt, and had my coolant system checked, because of leaking. All that seems fine now. And as they say, here we go again! now my van will not start, As I was leaving the shop after getting a new thermostat put on, I noticed the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light come on, I asked the mechanic and he plugged a handheld reader into it but it told him everything was working fine, at least thats what he informed me. since then I drove for a few days to work but noticed it was getting harder and harder to start the van. The SERVICE ENGINE SOON light was constantly on. Yesterday, I went out to go to work and it would not start it would turn over and lights were still coming on fine , but simply wouldn't start. Please tell me what I can do or what it may be? These past few weeks it has been back and fourth to shop so many times they know me by first name now! I am no mechanic, so please if possible tell me in laymans terms .

Thank You SOOOO MUCH ANYONE ! WHO HELPS ME HAVE A GREAT DAY.

1994 Town Car 4.6 eng.
