Contact an insurance company before you go and buy. Some companies are open sat and sun. You can call them from the dealership and secure insurance that way.

It's hard to tell because every vehicle has a different pricing structure and market. Start with the internet and shop several dealers for pricing and availability. That's your best bet.

It sounds like a manufacture defect. I would push the warranty with the dealer. It should be covered. That probably does mean to repaint though.

Did you already complete the sale and take delivery of the truck? If you havn't, yes you can back out. Nothing is signed. If so it's up to you to get the dealership to fess up and explain the up charges.
