The problem could be the ICM (Ignition Control Module). They tend to be heat sensitive when they get old. Or you could also try checking the ignition coil to see if it went bad and replace it.   ___________________________ dustrod - the performance radiator of coolness.

 I would still suspect a defective water pump. Your BMW may still have the plastic pump that tends to quit anytime without warning. If its not the water pump, then the problem could be at the radiator nozzles, since they break at around 100k miles. Are you sure that the coolant has been changed? There may be still be a lack of coolant. But if the coolant level is alright, the problem may be from the air compressor that needs repair or replacement.     ________________________  dustrod - the Performance Radiator of coolness.
