It might be your Fuel Safety Switch which turn the gas off when you car has an accident. Most of these swithches are in the glove box. My Ford Topaz had one over the rear wheel well. This changed as I believe too many people with flat tires in that area were shut down in the middle of the freeway, as this happened to me.
