    Brake Lights

    Brake lights not working, replaced all lights, check fuses, brake lamp working.

    the brake lights and the tail light are two differnt things,, I would check your brake light switch, witch is located on the brake pedal shaft itself, look up from the pedal on the shaft you will see it, when you push your brakes, the switch turns on the brake lights..

    sometimes the Brake light switch moves a little or is out, you can find the switch just look under the dash at the brake arm you should see the button making contact with the Brake peddle arm

    My friend just had this problem with his 2002 Grand Prix GT , he had to have the turn signal switch replaced in the streering colunm.  Turn signals worked but no brake lights and the third brake light in the rear window worked.  part was around $400.00  plus 2 hours of labour. GM part only I believe.  Hope this helps.
