I have a 1990 F-250 HD with a 7.3L (445 cid) E4OD and a Ford/Sterling 10.25 full floating axle.
My problem is, I can't keep an axle seal in the left side. It leaks 6-8 months after I install a new one. "The vent is clear" (just to let you know).
I even took the whole axel to a machine shop where they shimmed the axle tube, but the leak persists. My brakes are getting soaked.
Any help would be appreciated.[8-)]
