my car is acting weird....all the dash lights are on and while i was driving the car the other day the temp gage started jumping up and down really fast...and now i go out to try and start it and it takes about 30 times turning over but not starting...sometimes after turning it over 30 times it starts.... can someone tell me what is wrong with it??? please

I do not know what the problem is but I have a 1996 Buick Skylark that is doing basically the same thing. My dash lights and temp gauge were OK but my speedometer kept going up and down for no apparent reason. My Skylark only has 74,000 actual miles on it. Someone said that it sounds like I have water in my gas. I guess I will have to have it towed to a mechanic and let him figure it out. If you find out anything my e-mail is vet.tony@gmail.com
