I am getting horrible gas mileage. I am only driving about 100 miles on a full tank of gas. This car has had a full tune up, new tires, new exhaust. What can I do to get better gas mileage. This thing is eating my lunch, literally.

The average gas mileage in a 91 Crown Vic is 14 miles per gallon, anything over that is just bonus. It can average 16 mpg on highway, and around 12 city.

Plugged catalytic converters will cause a drastic reduction in fuel mileage and power. They can also come apart and plug the mufflers. Should be replaced at 100,000 miles.
