2003 Ranger 4.0 liter 5 year extended warranty expired on 12/30/07 and now check engine light on with codes P0171 and P0174. Banks 1 and 2 running lean. Can someone help me out with how to correct this problem.

hey rick i think you need to change the mass air flow meter or its the up stream o2 sensor ,,,,,i cant remember which one because i have a explorer and i dont remember which one had those codes but.....i remember what the fixes were and it is one of the two.........

Rick,  You are getting too much air in your engine.  Check for a vacuum leak.
