    MY CADILLAC 2000 DEVILLE WONT

    I DROVE  MY CAR YESTURDAY & EVERYTHING SEEM TO BE FINE! BUT WHEN I GOT IN IT TODAY IT WONT EVEN TURN OVER. U CAN HEAR IT CLICK BUT THATS ALL! BATTERY SAYS 11.8 IS THAT TO LOW 2 START THE CAR?

    The starter require 9-10 volts to turn. A bad solenoid would require more voltage to kick the starter. Your battery has only 11.8 volts static power. When you try to start the car it probably drops to 8 or less volts under load. Not enough to start. Battery should maintain 12.5 volts static and 14.5 volts with engine running.
