I have a 1998 vaden plas with 134,000 miles and I was looking for infomation on changing the transmission fluid and filter? its a  5 speed nonsupercharged. any info  Thanks 

need to know what trans it is there r 4 differant ones     if u have a w5a580    or  zf5hp24   the manifacture says no need to service    look on the side of drive side of trans  see if u have a tag

I have the 1998 zf5hp24 which dose not have a dip stick to check to fluid level, but it has a plug on the right (pass)side top rear above the pan for refilling and topping off.is there a way to measure if the level is  low or okay ? Thanks

u run engine at running temp   then slowly shift trans into all gears then back to park  then u pull that plug on the side of pan out u want the fliud to be rite at the plug hole    if u need to add fliud u put it into that hole   use essco atf lt 71141   fliud         info says the trans is filled for life   no service needed
