Hey Man! you know i am having that same problem with my 97 Buick ParkAve. I just brought the car about a week ago, and the A/C fan was then and still is now blowing strong, but the air was hot air. so I took it to Texico to get it check, and the guy said it was holding. (in other words there were no leaks) so he charge the system with 3 cans of freon. it blew cold for about 4 days, and then it started blowing cold only on the passenger side, and hot on the driver side, and in the back seat vents. so i took it back to the fellow who had charged it, and he hooked up the gauges and still it showed that it was still full of freon. so he went on to say that he felt like it was the doors under the dashboard. there are doors that flap open when the command is given at the dash controls, but if the wireing is bad, or the motor that control the opening and closeing of the doors goes out then it get stuck in that last position it was put in. the doors, let's say you want heat, and you turn the temp up, it makes the door swing over to the cool side to expose the vents where heat comes out, and the same thing happens when you turn down the temp for air cond it swings over to the heat side to expose the air to be blown in. so maybe your door motor on the driver side is faulty, much like my own. (i think). when you find something out, if you will, holla at me, and if i find something out I'll do the same. you can reach me on yahoo: at [ jones75241 ] @yahoo.com
