Escalade 99, CD error, wont play

I have a 99 escalade with a in dash cd player, (slot for cd) and it also has a 6 cd changer in the console. When I put a cd in the slot it reads "error" across teh display. Same thing happens when I put one in the changer in the console. Any ideas. Thanks

2004 Escalade horn inop

have recently had problems with horn pad not actuating the horn. it may go days w/o working but as soon as i am able to take it to the dealer it starts working again. no problem with the panic or locking mode sounding horn. dealership says they need to have vehicle when horn pad does not work. any suggestions beyond GM TSB #3300C for Chevy truck models w/ same problem?

Mine is a 2000 Escalade, purchased used just last year. I have been having sporatic problems with finding my battery low after not driving it for 3 days. That problem has become quite a bit worse. Now if I go a day without starting my car the battery is low and needs a boost to start. If I don't drive it for 2 days the battery needs charging to start. I have had the battery replaced and the alternator checked; both are okay. What is killing my battery. There was some talk that my factory installed alarm system was malfunctioning. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Would appreciate any help in diagnosing this problem.

I am looking to find out where the sensors are located on my 2000 escalade can any one help help me with this problem I want to make sure i know where they are rather than searching for them . help please!

Because of rough running, sluggish uptake I had the codes read ( it was time for the tune-up anyway) and they said I needed spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, and an O2 sensor was bad. I purchased all these but the man who read the codes forgot to tell me I could have a print-out of the readings so I don't know which sensor was bad. Now with everything except the sensor replaced the code reader only says that # 6 is misfiring...nothing about the sensor. The service engine light was staying on but now is only on intermittantly. It is still exhausting smoke smelling like gas. Is there a way to tell if the O2 sensors are bad and which ones? What can I do about the #6 misfiring? I really need a next step not involving taking it to the dealer. Just before all this starting happening the A/C compressor froze up and was replaced, the power steering pump bolt came out and had to be fixed then the hoses to it had to be replaced. There was a leak found in the radiator because I smelled a funny smell in the car. When I got it back from that repair it went back and they replaced the temp sensor.trying to fix the service engine soon light. HELP!
