turn signal replacement...

2003-CTS...front/passenger turn signal is burnt out.... what's the secret passage to the unit in order to replace it?

oops...never mind...it's in the book. Done.

For anyone having the described situation. I replaced the crankshaft position sensor, and have had NO PROBLEMS SINCE.

2003 CTS Cadillac

I have the above veh. Somtimes it does'nt start other time it will. Two /three times it cut off while driving. Waited for approx. 30 min and it started right up.

Replaced the fuel filter and the theft deterent module, but it still did the same thing. Waited awhile it started up no problem. Got home started up several time consecutively, left home cut of the car and it would not start.

Have looked at a few cadillac forums, found other owners with ths same problem on this year veh.. Some state to replace the cameshaft and crankshaft sensors.

Does anyone have any other recomendations or can ref. this . Any help would be appreciated.

Driver Door Ajar Message

I get a driver door ajar message after shifting into gear. The door is closed properly and the message only happens sporadially. Dealership diagnostic doesn't show any problems.

Any opinions out there.

Also have a Bose 1.5 Base audio system. CD player skips and cut out but start up when it's ready. I thought all of my cds were bad at first. When the car was still under factory warranty the stereo system was changed twice. Factory warranty gone now.

I bought the car used in 2005 with 34000 miles on it.

I have had my 93 sts for 2 years. When I am cruising around 60 or so and let off the gas my car sometimes acts like it is going to quit. The only way to describe it is it coughs. lol and sometimes when I let off the gas it will stall. I have asked alot of people what they think. I was told that I am either running on 4-6-or 8 cylinders . I think it has something to do with it but don't know for sure. I may not be describing this very well but it is the best I can do. The computer always says systems ok. I just hate to take it to a dealer because they rape you in charges. 1993 cadi sts

I have a 93 sts and when I am going about 55 or so and leave my foot off the gas it kinda does a jerking thing and sometimes when I leave my foot off the gas it just quits. My mechanic doesn't know alot about the northstar engine so he is not much help and I can't afford to take it to a cadi dealer. I have had this car for 2 yrs and this problem isn't getting any worse. Some say it is the driver and not the car. I know these engines go from 4 to 6 or 8 cylinders but the car shouldn't jerk. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. Thanks for any comments

I have been into a Cadillac dealer and have test driven the CTS. I really liked it. There is a lease available for $299 per month with $0 down. Has anyone else leased this car? What should I be looking for in this lease (what are the potential pitfalls)? If anyone can help (this is my first lease), that'd be great.

I have just purchased a 2004 CTS and am unable to locate the external temperature read-out. I have been told this is a standard feature, but am unable to locate it. Please help.

Sneak Peek: 2008 CTS

Cadillac showed a sneak preview of its all-new 2008 CTS just before its official release at the Detroit Auto Show next month. The preview looks almost identical to the CTS that was seen on "60 Minutes" earlier this year. While not much can be seen of the new CTS, the car looks to be larger and wider than its predecessor and is rumored to be packing a little more punch as well.
