Almost picked up our 2010 'BUT'

What would you do?

First the color was supposed to be dark blue it came a lighter blue than what we were supposed to get. Second there was a crack in the paint on the rear bumper cover and I think it may be into the plastic.My husband is happy with the color but the ground effects would look better with the dark blue.

Ok my question is do we deffer the car because of the crack or do we let them repaint it.If they repaint is it ok to ask to see the cover off the car and if they say no do I deffer.

The girl that PO'ed we when we first went there told us the car would be fixed in a day and I tend not to believe this.Any oppinions on this will sure help what would you do if you were in our shoes.

I guess your feet would hurt if you were in my husband shoes.

Parking sensors are a technology that allows the driver of an automobile, truck, or commercial vehicle to be alerted to nearby objects in their path. Parking sensors are also known as backup sensors, parking sonar or just sonar depending on the automaker. While there are variations in the design and features of these systems, the basic design puts sensors in the vehicle's bumper or on brackets. These sensors send ultrasonic waves at 40,000 times per second that detect obstacles behind the vehicle. A controller installed inside the vehicle then receives the signal from the sensors and transmits it to a speaker that emits a tone, or to a combination speaker and display unit. As it results, the first invention of ultrasonic Parking sensors has been invented in Italy by electronic Engineer Massimo Ciccarello and Professor Architect Ruggero Lenci.

Installation of Audi A4 GPS

I bought an in dash car GPS for my A4. I really like this unit, the functions(HD digital screen+GPS+DVD+TPMS+USB+SD) and brand(World famous). I followed the tutorial given by the tech-man of chinacargps.com. The original version is PDF, but I managed to snap the pictures and made this post. Hopefully you guys can benefit something from it.

I should have bought it with my friends, so that together we can apply for discount from that company in China. Anyhow, I enjoy it so much.

1. Pull out the original stereo by four special keys just like cap of the pop can

2. Install the special braket together with the unit.

Here are a few things to consider when shopping for a GPS:

- Screen size. GPS devices come in many sizes and shapes. While a system built into a person’s iPhone may be good for walking the streets of an unfamiliar city, it probably isn’t the best option for a driver looking for an off-ramp. When driving, bigger is often better as long as it doesn’t interfere with your view of the road. A glance at the screen can provide a driver with critical information about exits, lane changes and other points of interest.

- Volume. Again, a smartphone’s speaker may not be the best if you have road noise or screaming kids and a chatty spouse in the car. The unit’s volume has to be loud enough that you don’t miss those crucial “stay left” or “exit ahead” messages. Before buying, crank up the volume to test it out.

- Speech. This may not sound like a big deal, but when you’re stuck in rush-hour traffic in a strange city and there are cars zigging and zagging around you, having the GPS call out upcoming streets by name can save your life.

- Update ability. How does the GPS stay current? For people who don’t have time to connect their GPS to a computer every time they want to update street information, a GPS with a built-in card reader is best. Having the card reader means you can download a map to the card then just plug it into the GPS when you want to use that map. Otherwise, you’ll have to connect the GPS to a computer each time you want new map info.
