Keyless Remote for 2002 Buick LeSabre

My remote key chain popper suddenly stopped working, both of them. Have changed the battery, reset as instucted in the remote, and nothing. Is there a fuse that works only this function. Everything else seems to be working fine.

1. Last year when the auto mechanics were changing the battery they stated the alarm went off....I didn't know I had an alarm.

2. 6 months ago My car wouldn't start, the hazard lights were not on but you could hear the clicking sound that the hazards usually signal. I was told I should have the keyless entry disabled.

3. We disconnected all of the wires connected to the keyless system....but now my radio and clock won't work.

Is there a fuse somewhere in the vehicle? Or is it that we just disconnected all the wires tied into the keyless remote device. (Located under the dash.)

If you need to know the device name it is the Pursuit Keyless Entry System.

We just installed a new engine on a 1999 buick century custom, attached everything to it and now the car won't stay cranked. its backfiring/popping under the hood. We attached the obd II tester to it and its showing passed. what could be the problem?

I have a 94 Buick Regal Sport 3.8 Auto. Car will shift into all gears and move except reverse. I do at times hear a little noise when in reverse but all ather gears seem fine

An example: tonight going down the highway, on cruise, started to go up a small incline and the engine kicked into a lower gear to speed up but nothing seemed to get the speed up. Down from 57 to 43mph, I took off the cruise and sort of babied it back up to speed (55mph). It seemded to be chugging or laboring during this time.

Other times, just driving in the city, it doesn't have the power when I give it the gas. It labors. Perhaps not getting enough gas. It doesn't always do it. At times everything seems ok but then without a warning, it acts strange.

It's not gas line freeze up. (Added isoproyl). Added fuel injector cleaner. Transmisson fluid looks good and at proper level. 71,300 miles on Buick Regal. Not fuel filter. No obvious vaccuum leak - no sound of leaking. Engine purrs beautiful - when idling. Overall this car has been very good. No problems - just the normal tires and brakes etc. No 'engine service light' shining. Any and all ideas would be apprreciated.

Could this be caused by a malfunctioning brain (ECM)? How could I test this to verify it?

Hello im new here and I want to say hello to all and I hope that I can help some of you members. My buddy just bought a 1996 Park Avenue and the A/C is coming out of the defrost instead of the A/C vents does anyone knows what it is? To me it's some sensor but which one and where is it located. My buddy bought this car from this friend his mom passed away and the car only has 59,000 miles on it and it has always been in a garage and he paid only $2500.00 dollars for it the rear seat has never even been sat on and it's like brand new inside and out I say what a great deal.

Buick Regal 1998; turn signal stalk causing dead short.

I have a 1998 Buick Regal GS with approximately 85 000 miles on the odometer. As of the last 10 000 miles or so, when the turn signal is used, the lights come on the dash, the engine begins to shut down and I am sure it would stall if I didn't put the turn signal stalk in the neutral position. I have not been helped by the a Buick dealer who said he researched the problem and said he had no knowledge of such a situation. I went on line to the NHTSA site and found no fewer than 8 complaints lodged that were reporting exactly what I am experiencing. At the same NHTSA site, there are numerous complaints about engines cutting out WHILE IN MOTION. I asked (4/17/08) NHTSA what it would take to nudge GM to voluntarily recall this model. What I suspect is that the same problem exists with a ton of GM vehicles. In the near future, I will be visiting the NHTSA complaint site to see if the Regal of other model year has experienced the very same problem. I guess it takes a number of deaths of important people for NHTSA or anyone else to push GM into doing what's morally. And people wonder why the Japanese are taking the lead in automobile satisfaction. Does anyone out there know what the solution is to my vehicle's problem? Please and thanks. Wojo

I just bought a 1998 Buick Century LS with a 3.8 V6 in it. I have seen if parts exist in a parts store for that motor in this year model. As far as I know they didn't make this model an option with a 3800 series; or did they??? As far as I know, a 3100 is the only motor for this make. Is there any other information available that would tell me otherwise?

This car I bought about 6 months ago and it was in good running condition, but about 2 months ago it started to run very sketchy. Sometimes its hard to start, other times it will start and I put it in drive and it dies after a few minutes(after I let it warm up). It also "stutters" and misses when Im driving. The wierd thing is it will drive perfectly for a week and then start acting up again. I dont know what is wrong, I have recently tuned up the fuel system, filters etc... So I dont think it could be that. But my question is has anyone else had a problem like this, or could anyone tell me what is wrong?

my car is acting weird....all the dash lights are on and while i was driving the car the other day the temp gage started jumping up and down really fast...and now i go out to try and start it and it takes about 30 times turning over but not starting...sometimes after turning it over 30 times it starts.... can someone tell me what is wrong with it??? please

1997 Park Ave Ultra Electric Seats

I'm looking for parts and advice. Both front seats fail to travel up and down. They are at the lowest position right now. We got a price of $1300 to have them repaired (new parts from the dealer) incl labor. It's a little high for a car with 190,000 miles on it, but we still like the car very much! I'd like to run it another 100,000 miles.

First, are used parts available or must the whole assembly be replaced? Are there places which specialize in these parts? If so, do you have a recommendation?

How difficult is it to remove the seat? I presume only 4 nuts and disengage the electronics. Once the seat is out, then the unit could be removed from the seat frame?

I have a 1988 Buick Regal Custom 2.8L V6. Sometimes starts and sometimes not. it starts sputtering and dies when I put any sort of load on it (headlights, heater, ect.) I Replaced the battery and its not that. the only thing I can think of is my alternator. I went to take it off to go have it tested at a local auto electrical shop but I don't know what size the mounting bolts are, they must be in the 32nds or something. All I am asking is if anyone knows an easy way of testing my alternator, and if not what and the hell size of wrench/socket do I need to get the damn thing out of there. thanx everybody

2000 Buick Regal no-start

I have a 2000 Buick Regal that when ingnition turned will get all dash lights, a/c, windows go up and down, radio comes on, lights come on strong, we can hear the relays but the engine will not turn over or start intermittenly. I have had it to the dealer. They have had it a total of 2 weeks. They have witnessed this problem, yet can not diagnose the problem. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else ever had this problem???? If so, what is it?

i drive a 92' buick roadmaster sedan it has a 5.7 V8 350 the temp gauge is going up and down and up and down and usually its drives at about 160-180 degrees now it goes from about 130 to 260 degrees which is the red zone i just replaced the thermostat and the temp sensor but the gauge is still telling me that my car is running hot im not a mechanic but it seems like there is a clog in the radiator so would having the radiator flushed be the next thing i should try to fix that issue?
