power steering whine

Hi, i have an Audi 2000 A8, with 4.2 engine. The steering pump has a whine when you turn the wheels both ways. also hard to turn when standing still. The reservoir is full but bubbles when the car is running. Have tried turning the wheels back and forth, no good. This started when i left the car parked over night with the tires turned all the way to the left. I'm thinking pump, but perhaps it's not.

Timing belt question...

Hi guys.

I have 1997 Audi A8, buoght it used and never have had any problems. Now it has 100,000 miles. Is it time to change a timing belt or can I just keep driving?

How do Audi A8 repair costs stack up to other European autos

I am considering an buying a 1999-2001 Audi A8 for my wife and my mechanic discourages me from buying it because the repairs are higher than comprable european cars like BMW, Mercedes.

What is your experience?
