It say's nothing about this in the owners manual either, (I smell a law suit coming on this one) I will let you know what they say when they get back to me. However I, at this point would say don't get a stereo at all and buy after market then you won't have a 3000 song limit at least as far as the hard drive goes. I say this for 2 reasons...(1) 3000 songs sounds like allot but not really for the hard drive (2) the reason I bought the upgraded system with CF is I wanted to have all my music with me and not even deal with the recording of CD's to the hard drive (partly because it doesn’t do real high quality... I mean you can really tell the difference between the recorded song and the CD). Moreover, you are required to be stopped to delete a song that you don't want and you don't have a choice but to record the whole CD or at least you have to record from 1 till its finished recording up to after the songs you want. I want to buy an I pod since it connects to one but I don't know if I will not be able to see and play all my songs or what so I will find out and let you know on that too.

Thanks...
