Compact Flash Card

Can someone tell me what size or kind of Compact Flash Card is used in the 2009 Maxima. The salesperson(s) cannot explain to me the type or size. All they can tell me is to go to Best Buy or Circuit City who carries them. Well that's not much info for me. I don't physically have my car yet (on order), but want to be ready for when it arrive in late Aug 08. There's different types and sizes. Some of them I looked at in the stores are for cameras. Can you use these for loading music on them? I'm confused. If someone can refer me to a weblink to see one or explain it to me, would be benefitial. Thanks....BS58

What a hot car. I have a 98 Mustang Cobra convertible that has been giving me a lot of problems lately, as well as a baby on the way. Being that the Cobra is not really going to allow for a car seat, I am in the market for a bigger car, but want to stay sporty and high performance, and then I fell in love. I saw the Maxima at the Auto Show and cannot wait for it to come out because I really think this will be my next car. 87 Nissan Maxima failed GA emmissions

I have an 87 Nissan Maxima and I have failed emissions this year. Last year I passed but this year I didn't! I changed all the spark plugs and ignition wires and the O2 sensor but the shop that did my emissions said that my fuel is burning too rich. What can I do to get my HC ppm and CO% emission test lowered?

Alternator/Battery Question

My battery was dead on my 95 Maxima after I left the lights on all day. AAA came out and attempted to jump the car. As long as their cables were hooked up the car ran but stopped as soon as they were removed. Is this just a very dead battery or is this possibly the alternater not working, and how do I check it? When my heat is on it dosen't blow very hot, and when I'm stopped at a red light cold air comes out. What could be the problem

My 1990 Maxima had a sudden loss of power. You can put the gas peddle to the floor and the car just barlly go's. I made all the normal checks such as the gas filter, plug wires, and distributer cap. But what else can cause this problem.

I have a 96 Nissan Maxima, it has 158K mi. and it still runs like a great car. Currently, and I am experiencing that not so great car. It has been leaking anti- freeze and I cant seem to know where its coming from. I am really not much an expert on imports, but I do know that my oil isnt sludgy. It hasnt gotten past the middle mark of the temperature dial yet. I am trying to see if anyone knows what I can do about it. I called Nissan dealership and they will charge an excessive amount for a fix on an old car like this one. Does anyone know of a good mechanic that could fix it, where it isnt going to cost and arm and leg for the car. If anyone can help that would be awesome. (Recently, Jiffy Lube did a radiator flush about two weeks ago and since then I haven't driven the car, until the beginning of this week. Here in the chicago, IL. where the vehicle resides at, the weather has been extremely cold.... Is it the radiator, the rubber tubes or something else. We have to put half of bottle of 50/50 Prestone solution every morning.

97 maxima electrical issue

I have a 97 maxima se and am having problems trying to get it started. the last time it was started, I could smell wires buring somewhere, then the car just died. I bought a new battery for it and when i try to hook up the cables, it starts sparking from the battery post. I tried following the positive wire down to the starter but didn't see anything wrong with it. The transfer link fuse was blown, so I changed that out but am still having the same problem. Can anyone help me out in figuring out this problem?

Electrical problem

There is a drain on the electrical system. If the car sets for 16 hrs or so it won't start. It has a new battery that checks good. When you remove the positive wire from the battery there is a heavy arc with everything turned off. The pull on the battery reads 9.6 volts between the positive battery terminal and the positive battery cable even with all fuses pulled. (4 fuse boxes) I read somewhere this test should be done between the negative battery post and negative cable instead of the positive. Does it make any difference?

I've been trying to install a Bose MP3/6Cd changer in a 1992 Nissan. I purched the car for my son and the Radio wires were rip out. I've contacted Bose but they didn't give me and direction. What I need are the plugs that connect from the car into the back of this unit. Also, where can I get a copy or the wiring Dia. for this car radio wires hook up? Removing power antenna 1990 maxima

The mast has snapped off with only the threaded end exposed. I am trying to remove the old power unit and replace it with a cheaper fixed antenna. How do i get to the underside of the unit to remove the motor unit and get to actual antenna connection?

I have a 92 maxima that will not fire on # 3 cylinder,it has spark, it compression, injector has power to it,when I spray sarting fluid in the intake it does not change any thing. What else could be the problem.

In my maxima owners guide, it has listed various 'inspection' tasks, such as inspecting the steering gear, linkage, drive boots, belts, vapor and fuel lines, etc. I was wondering if there is information out there as to the easiest way to do all of this, and what you are looking for... pictures of course would be great. If not, maybe a document needs to be created...
