autmatic eclipse tranni problem. Help!!!

HI. I was driving my automatic 1998 eclipse spyder when the transmission started to act up, wat it did it went into neutro so i had to pulled over shut the car off and then on again, it ran fine for about 5 miles then did the same thing; but this time i only was able to get to move with the O/D off and it only shits up one really hard and thats it, it wont go in reverse either. I was told mybe it was the TSP wich I changed but didnt work. Any ideas on what could be wrong with it? Thabk you so much

96 eclipse wont start

1996 eclipse wont start. I had the starter tested and it was good. I replaced the relay behind the stereo deck, and still nothing. When I turn the key, all the dash lights come on like normal, everything does what it's supposed to but nothing happens. No click from the celinoid, the starter doesn't make a noise... nothing. I can pop start it and it starts and runs like normal, but when I shut it off and try to start it again, nothing. The battery is fully charged. I don't know what the deal is. Can anyone help??

Strange Plug under console 1996 eclipse

i have a 1995 eclipse and i will not quit going in default i have replaced the soliniod pack and if i let it set for a couple days it will shift till it warms up i through the cover away cause my teacher told me i did not need it do you think its eletrical or something else

I have a 97 eclipse gst it is the turbo model. I recently changed the alternator and after a while my check engine light turned on. I checked with a shop and the checked the problem and said it was my idle air control valve...i am in the process of getting it changed. Now wenever i turn on my car and turn on my lights they start to flicker until my car is on for about 3 minutes. Then when i start to drive as i accelerate they start to flicker then when i keep it at a constant speed they stop flickering untill i take my foot off the accelerator or accelerate again. I just wanted to know if the idle air control could be the cause of the lights flickering or is it something else??

99' Eclipse timing belt tensioner

I have a 1999 Eclipse witha 2.4L SOHC. I changed the timing belt but I'm not sure of the procedure to adjust the tensioner. There appears to be three parts to the tensioner. There is the pulley itself that presses against the belt which is attached to a plate that pivots on a shaft attached to the block and the opposite end sits on a hydraulic adjuster (?) At the moment the piston of the hydraulic adjuster is fully out.

HI-

I am driving a Mistubishi Mirage S 1996. It stalls out when you start it , it does the same thing at stoplights,etc. It seems to me that no fuel is getting through properly. It only has 85,000 some odd miles on it. Could it be the C02 filter and the idle. I just got it tuned up by someone else which I will never do again. I always do my own mechanics work and even though, I am a female, I am good at what I do. I just need to be able to narow this prblem down to be able to address it properly.

So ALL YOU VESSESL OF WISDOM OUT THERE, TELL ME WHAT VODOO I NEED TO DO. MUCH APPRECIATED.

MY 97 ECLIPSE GS NON TURBO 5 SPEED MANUAL,POPS OUT OF FIFTH GEAR AFTER WARMED UP TO 50 M.P.H. HAVE TO HOLD IT DOWN.. THE ODOMETER DON'T WORK AND I JUST HAD THE SLAVE CYLENDER REPLACED. IF ITS IN THE TRANSMISSION WOULD I BE BETTER OFF HAVING IT REBUILT? EVERY ONE WANTS 500 JUST FOR LABOR ANYWAY. OR A USED ONE? IM IN TYLER TEXAS DONT TRUST ANYONE!! ANY ADVICE? My Mitsu has no brake lights,interior lights , fog lights and no AC - heater blower, and seat belts wont engage

After a low speed front end collision we removed the bumper and kinda "bent" the framing to accomodate a new radiator , we did find one loose wire from the aternator so I wrapped it back around the post it fell off of, The car no longer over heats but i does not have many of the powered systems, lights,elecrical, etc....... wondering if anyone knows whats going on here?!?!? thanks also on the cluster gauges the battery and brake light is half illuminated and there is a bird cage looking light on there thats orange anyone know what that light is?

Front Bumper Question on Newest Body Style Available

This question is directed to anyone with an Eclipse with the newest body style available w/o a factory installed front tag holder....I have a new 2008 Eclipse. I had a new bumper installed on it because I didn't like the hidieous front tag the factory had put on it. Today I noticed on my new front bumper there are 2 dibits indicating where one would put screws. To me it is very noticable. Can anyone tell me if they have the same thing on their front bumper? I'm just trying to make sure I didn't get ripped off with my new bumper. Thanks for your help!

Hey, im new here and well in about 2 weeks ill have my liscense and im defnitly looking forword to buying a 98 eclipse but i have a few questions about them if anyone wouldent mind helping me, what kind of engine stock comes with the 98 and how much horse power does it have? and i know the eclipse is a front wheel drive car, but can it drift? or does it have to be a rear wheel car to do that? sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question but again im new here, thanks for any help you can provide

Idles Rough, OK in Drive/Neutral

I've recently purchased a 2002 Eclipse Spyder, GS, for my son and have noticed it idles rough when we come to a stop. Roughness goes away if I put it in any gear other than Drive. Runs fine otherwise. Any ideas? Thanks.
