Q45 Engine Miss

99 Q45 with 180000 mostly highway miles in South Central Texas. Ran well until about 4 months ago and I started to notice an occasional engine miss at idle. No service lights; no impact on fuel economy. Had new plugs, plug wires installed by my long time mechanic but slight miss still occasionally there. Over the course of the next two months, engine miss became slightly worse, but still mostly at idle, however under hard acceleration, it was VERY noticeable. Still no impact on fuel economy. Ran OBDII codes on home scanner and got PO330 and PO400. Mechanic fixed the Exhaust Gas sensor code but said the knock sensor was an expensive item, might want to delay on that.

Miss got more persistent, fuel economy started to suffer (still no check engine light) so I took it in. They had it for two days and couldn't find the source of the miss (I asked them to check the plugs and wires and they said they did). They also said the knocki sensor wouldn't cause this miss.

After yet another day, they now say it looks like a coil might be bad. Now there is a check engine light coming on. My OBDII scanner says PO302 and PO330 now.

Any ideas? The car REALLY runs rough so I don't want to be driving it very far.

I have a 1999 Q45t, it is overheating and the idler, when on, whistles or shriks really loud. I have checked all my belts and they are all intact. Has anyone experienced this problem. Any suggestions or solutions will be appreciated. Thanks,

My 1995 Q 45 won't egage in reverse - forward gears are fine - I've been told infinity's have reverse problems and a new cable may be needed?

Our dealer said we new a new transmission ($3 to 4K) is needed - help! Any ideas?

This car came to the shop for a service. The owner reported that he had always had trouble with cold starting, in that the car could be started initially,

but, if once stalled or shut off just after the initial start, would not restart without a long cranking with the throttle to the floor. Warm, the car starts

normally. We cleaned the fuel system with the Carbonclean system without a noticeable result, then replaced the plugs. The old plugs showed some

difference between the left and right banks as to color, the right bank seeming to be running a little richer (tan color) and the left bank about normal

(slightly gray). After the plugs were changed, we have a miss in two or more cylinders, which never fire. We are trying to figure a way to test each

cylinder to find which ones are not firing, and any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.

Also, what would cause the cold enrichment to be so excessive. We have replaced the CTS and cleaned the connector.
