2007 M35 navigation system

I bought a Certified pre-owned 2007 M35 from an Infiniti dealer and the Navigation system does not work. It is under warranty and the dealer has been working on the system and so far has not been able to fix it. They are waiting on a switch now that has been on back order for almost 3 weeks. I have owned the car for almost 3 months and they have had it almost 4 weeks working on the nav. system. They do furnish me with another Infiniti vehicle to drive while mine is in the shop. I love driving the car but will enjoy it more when they finally figure out what the problem is with the nav. system. Anyone else having issues or have had issues with their nav. systems?

I love my 2008 M35S. It's rated at 290HP but I would like to push it up to around 350 HP without breaking the bank. I've seen cold air intakes, exhausts, headers, and performance chips. They say the chips are easy to install (30 min) and add 50 HP, with no adverse engine problems. Do the cold air intakes really add 10 HP? I used to drag race back in the '70's. Today when I pop the hood I dont even see an engine, just a big cover, LOL. So I could use any help from you younger guys out there, as I don't like to waste my money or make mistakes. Thanks

Seat controls

Both the control knobs for the passenger seat of my 2007 M35X came off. Had them replaced at an Infiniti dealer today and before I got home, they came off again. If anyone else has had this sort of problem I would appreciate hearing from you.

Can't view some Navigation menus while the car is moving

We just pruchased a 2006 M35. Great car but one irksome issue is that some phone and navigation menues are only available when the car is stopped. Any ideas about how to bypass this "feature"? Thanks

seat belt in M35

Has anyone had problem with retraction of the seat belt in an M35. I have punched two holes now in the door liner which have cost about $300 to get fix. Never had a similar problem with any other car in over 40 years of driving.

M45 Navigation DVD Problem

I am the proud owner of a '06 M45 with the Advanced Tech package (5.1 speaker system). My problem is that although I have the v7.0 Map Data DVD (with maps of North America), there are no maps of Hawaii included!!

Our one and only one Infinity Dealer has given up trying to obtain something that will work in my system here in Honolulu. I contacted Zenrin USA, Inc. (the company that produces Navi software for Infiniti) and they confirm that although Hawaii map data is available, they have no plans to include them in Infiniti's DVD.

If I understand the Zenrin web site correctly, it does indicate that Honolulu, HI is covered in Nissan's MCA 10 (an upgrade CD) with detailed coverage of Honolulu. Will this CD work in the M's DVD system?

Navigation systems in Audi, Acura, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc all come with Hawaii maps so it seems Infiniti alone is not aware that Hawaii is part of the US. Does anyone know if any other brand of data DVD will work in the M? Can anyone suggest another solution?

Hesitation when accelerating

When I to rapidly accelerate by punching the accelerater to the floor, my M35 hesitiates. I have asked the dealer several times about this problem and have received different answers each time. The bottom line is that there is nothing they can do. Does anyone else out there who owns an M experience the same problem or know how to cure the problem.
