For about four months now my altima has been making a sound like a lawnmower or a twin engine plane during acceleration only. About a week ago I took my car to the dealer to have a diagnostic ran on it (I didn't tell the service guy about the noise). He told me that I needed a Cataytic Converter but I'm wondering....could this be the noise I'm hearing or could it be something else?
Help Please!
