My 01 A6 developed an incredibly/exceptionaly loud front brake squeal from 10 mph or less after I had the rotors and pad done.  Since it started, I've replaced the rotors twice, the pads three times and have had the pads reseated and lubed an additional two times.  Two Audi dealers and a tire shop later, no one can figure out the problem.  I've recently had the CV boots and tie rod ends replaced.

 Any help is appreciated.  I'm exhausted living with the noise and embarrasement!

I realize you posted this a few years ago but I have to ask if you ever solved this problem and what you did.  I have exactly the same problem on my 2000 A6. I changed rotors and pads and now have the worst squeal at low speeds.  I tried reseating the pads and lub behind the pads with no luck.
