Hey everybody I am looking at an 02 type s with 115k on it and is in excellent condition with one owner, is the car worth buying? Will it run good for another 100k or more without any big problems?I know they are good cars and acura's run for a long time but im just not sure if I should buy it or look for something else. please help!

It really just depends on the price of the car. Kelley Blue Book lists an excellent, base model, five speed, 2002 RSX at $9,835. That mileage is very high but if the car was properly maintained should stay running for quite a while. Would I pay almost $10,000 for small car with that many miles? No! Does that mean that it's a bad car? No.

if you really like small cars and that mileage doesn't bother you, then get it.

     I always check the rates with several codes from that list and book the lowest, without even looking whose it is. So do my friends. We have never been asked to show any ID, certificate, business card, flight ticket or anything else. The rental agent really couldn't care less, and I'm sure the rental company is happy to get the business even at a low margin.

I have an 02 type s with 160,000 hard miles on it and it keeps asking for more.  Clutch went at 100000, the clutch master cylinder will go!  But its only 85$ or so and an hour. but no problems with mine other than that. In fact best car I owned (12 of them) watch the price though! people dont buy these to put around in.

It is good to buy one owner car, but as far as price is concerned , i guess 115k for this seems too expensive.
