    1997 mazda b4000 2 w dr. auto trans. 115426 miles

    wipers won't work belive  motor is problem, chilton repair manual say's first turn on ignition then wiper switch and stop in up position

    then disconet neg  battery cable remove wiper blade arm then nut holdin same and let drop down. remove access plate and remove clip holding motor to wiper links how can you get the wipers to up position if motor is bad ??? is there another way to get the clip from motor so can remove and replace...   thanks blueyecat

    If the motor's bad, then you should be able to move the arms by hand.  Climb on your hood, grab the arm, and force it to a higher position.  If you don't want to have to climb on your truck, have a friend help you.  You might feel like you broke it if you have to use alot of force, but most likely your wiper arms were rusted.  Try turning on your wipers with the ignition on again to see if they work.  If not, then just remove as instructed.


    It's not broke... It's just.... Ok it's broke but I can fix it! Where's my duck tape?
