my alternator light flickers and the battery is draining. i had the alternator tested and it tested good. what else could it be?

 

Sounds like you have trouble with the wire connections.  Check to make sure the wires are not frayed or broken where they attach to the ends that go on the alternator, then trace them back as far as you can.  Do the same with the terminals of the battery.  Make sure you check the grounds as well.  Trouble like yours is usually a broken connector or a bad ground.
