Is it true, that if your brake shoe has a leak & the brake shoe becomes saturated with brake fluid that it is no longer usable?

Do I have to replace the brake shoe even if it isn't that old or worn?  Thanks!!  : )

Saturated pads are not good. The can cause a wheel lock up and put you into a skid. Always change the shoes and clean the metal parts with brake cleaner to get the fluid out of the pores of the metal or it will bake out every time you stop and ruin the new shoes.
