Engine quit while decelerating on an exit ramp from driving 55 mph. No engine light iluminated. Restarted right away, with no further problems for the rest of the night. Also restarted fine after stopping and parking for an errand. Any ideas?

Try to check the component in the distributor. It had something to do with the smog system, when the car triggered between cold start/run to closed loop operation it would send a bad signal to the computer and shut down the ignition. Try looking the parts you need at discount auto parts store.
