Does anyone have any idea what would cause the sudden onset of a thumping noise with the wheel rotation on my 2005 Yukon?  It speeds up with the rotation of the wheels and is louder during low speeds or coasting.  I replaced all 4 tires last week, but that didn't alleviate the problem in the least.

I would guess a broken radial band in one of your tires... u joints would be much faster turn rate than the tires wouldn’t it? Auto part maintenance is a great practice.
