    RSX or RSX-S

What is the difference between the RSX and the RSX-S?

    Re: RSX or RSX-S

There are only two trim levels for the 2002-06 RSX, the Type-S being the premium model. Some of the differences involve performance, handling and style. The engine and exhaust systems are upgraded and boost peak horsepower to 210 (from 200 hp). Some of the upgrades are high-performance camshafts, larger diameter exhaust pipes, high-flow catalytic converters and a six-speed manual transmission.  Performance upgrades were made as well and the Type-S comes standard with a rear spoiler.

While there is no 2007 RSX,  Kelley Blue Book lists the suggested retail price for the RSX Type-S about $3,000 more than the stock RSX.
