Jeep Compass Slow Start Means Lower Prices

The compass’ sales are pointing south, which is not good for the crossover market. Jeep cites the recent price cuts across the Chyrsler/Jeep 2006 models have slower adoption of newer vehicles such as the Jeep Compass.

One this is clear: Consumers gravitate to lower prices and Jeep knows this. If you are considering a brand new Jeep Compass, we recommend you wait a bit because we expect price cuts in the near future. My best guess on Jeep Compass price cuts you can expect immediately is a modest $500.

There may be more price cuts in the near future.

Jeep executives will most likely wait it out until all older models clear, and if sales of the Jeep Compass do not increase considerably, you can expect Jeep Compass’ prices to drop considerably.

Since this is the first ‘crossover’ by Jeep, it has enough distinguish-ability to increase sales by itself. People are going into Jeep dealerships and buying a Jeep at the biggest bang for their buck. They go in and see a more feature packed Jeep Liberty at a few thousand dollars less, and buy the one that make more sense. I do not think people will buy the crossover in droves until the price lowers to compete with other Jeeps.

Do not buy the Jeep Compass now, prices will decrease.
