Ford will release a new, re-designed version of its popular F-150 Truck in 2008

DETROIT, Oct 18 - Reuters reported today that Ford will release a new, re-designed version of its popular F-150 Pickup Truck in 2008. Previously, they had only released plans of the new F-250, and F-350.  "Ford also plans to launch a redesigned version of its flagship F-150 pickup in 2008." (Source).

In addition, GM plans to launch re-designs of the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks in 2008.

Price Analysis

Prices will drop overnight when this news spreads because car prices at the dealership are based on supply and demand. A lot of people want to wait for the newer model if they are planning a major purchase, especially if it is a re-design, to get the freshest look. While prices will drop almost overnight, you will see the biggest drops in the month ahead of the new release.
