New Jeep Cars
Since Chrysler bought Jeep in 1987, Jeep has maintained a three-vehicle lineup. By the end of the 2006 model year, the Jeep stable had grown to six vehicles including two car-based vehicles and a first ever four-door Wrangler. While the “Trail Rated” Jeeps still have sufficient off-road skills, they are becoming more competitive in the mainstream market with better ride quality, more comfortable, user-friendly interiors and more powerful, fuel-efficient engines. Despite the Compass’ slow sales start, the new Wranglers continue to be in high demand and the classic Cherokee styled Patriot should follow its success. To further sway consumers toward its showrooms, all Jeep vehicles now come standard with a lifetime powertrain warranty.
