New Jaguar Cars
A staple of British luxury, Jaguar was acquired by the Ford Motor Company in 1990. Since the acquisition, as a part of Ford’s Premier Automotive Group, Jaguar vehicles changed little, evolving technologically while retaining its classic styling. With the 2006 XK coupe, it was apparent that Jaguar’s design team was ready to move in a new direction. The highly anticipated S-Type replacement, the XF, will go on sale in 2008 (as a 2009 model) and represents a huge step forward for Jaguar. Not just a luxury marquee, Jaguar’s vehicles are also expected to exhibit high performance and road-hugging handling.
