When Cadillac introduced the Escalade in 1999, there is no way they could have known the effect their luxury SUV would have. Everybody from famous movie stars to soccer moms suddenly had to have Caddy’s SUV. Now in its third generation, the Escalade is available in three models: base, ESV and EXT. In addition to the long-wheelbase ESV and EXT pickup truck, the Escalade also offers a hybrid model. The Cadillac Escalade comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 19-21 mpg on the highway.
