New 2008 Lincoln Navigator L Reviews ...

Below is a New Lincoln Navigator L Review, which includes all the information you might need to help you in deciding if you should buy a 2008 Lincoln Navigator L ...

Reviews
Lincoln's large luxury SUV, the Navigator, was completely redesigned for 2007, with significant improvements in refinement, a more luxurious interior, and a cleaner, more elegant exterior appearance. A 5.4L V8, making 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, is the only engine offered on the Navigator, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission that brings an especially wide gear range, for improved acceleration and fuel economy. It can also tow up to 9,100 pounds.

Inside, the Navigator is fashionable and formal, with instrument-panel bezels styled after fashion eyewear, real Dark Ebony or Anigre grain-matched wood trim for the console and upper door panels, plus satin-nickel trim. The interior also includes soft leather upholstery and soft white lighting. An acoustic windshield and thicker glass help reduce noise.

The Navigator gets an independent rear suspension design that allows more confident handling. The safety-oriented AdvanceTrac stability control system with roll stability control (RSC) is standard, along with front side air bags, Safety Canopy side air bags for all three rows of outboard occupants, and new knee bolsters for front occupants.

The Navigator L is nearly 15 inches longer than the standard Navigator, bringing an additional 25 cubic feet of cargo space compared to the standard Navigator, along with improved ingress and egress for second- and third-row occupants thanks to wider-opening back doors.

The second row can be configured 40/20/40 for versatile folding to accommodate combinations of passengers and cargo, and the third row is also split-folding and tumbles forward to make a flat cargo floor. A PowerFold system, which automated the third row's fold-and-tumble operation, makes the additional 54.5 cubic feet of cargo space even more easily accessible. With all the seats up, there's seating for eight.

Each model is available in two- or four-wheel drive. A 600-watt THX premium audio system, with a six-disc changer and 14 speakers, is standard, as are 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic dual-zone climate control, HID headlamps, a reverse sensing system, a garage door opener, ten-way power driver and front passenger seats, and adjustable pedals. Options include 20-inch alloys, a moonroof, a towing package, a rear-seat entertainment system, power running boards, and a rearview camera.
