New 2008 Audi A5 Reviews ...

Below is a New Audi A5 Review, which includes all the information you might need to help you in deciding if you should buy a 2008 Audi A5 ...

Reviews
Audi's 2008 A5 is powered by a 3.2L FSI (direct-injected) V6 engine that makes 265 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The engine has the new Audi Valvelift System for variable valve timing and lift and better throttle response across the rev range. The sportier S5 model is powered by a 354-horsepower, 4.2L FSI V8 engine. Both versions have impressive acceleration, with the A5 getting to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and the S5 doing so in 4.9 seconds.

Both models have asymmetric quattro all-wheel drive, which is configured for performance-oriented on-road driving, and the engines are mounted ahead of the front axle for a more even weight distribution and better-balanced handling. With the V6, a six-speed manual gearbox is standard and a six-speed Tiptronic automatic, with manual shift control, is optional. The S5 is equipped solely with the manual.

The interior has individual bucket seating for four and a striking interior and exterior that borrow cues from the R8 sports car. Standard features on both models include tri-zone automatic climate control, leather seats, an electromechanical parking brake, rain-sensor wipers, automatic headlamps, a leather-covered tilt/telescopic steering wheel, a six-disc in-dash CD changer, and Sirius satellite radio. The A5 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, while S5 models come with larger 19-inch wheels and performance tires, plus striking LED running lights.

The options list is extensive. Standouts include a navigation system, a 505-watt Bang & Olufsen audio system, a rearview camera, adaptive headlights, HomeLink remote, Advanced Key entry system, and Audi side assist, which helps warn of vehicles in the blind spot.

An S Line Sport Package on the A5 adds a sport suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels and performance tires, sport seats, headlamp washers, brushed aluminum trim, a black headliner, and special badging.
