Mountain States Toyota service department is run by crooks. When I called them to make an appointment for alignment service, the service manager Eric quoted me $59 based on the model/year of my car. After my car was pulled into the service bay, a higher ranked service manager Mike came to me and said that if I chose to do the $59 job, it would be "total waste of my money and time." If I wanted to get the job done right, I had to pay at least $69. So I told him again about my conversation with Eric, Mike said that Eric was not here and he saw no proof of it . At that point, I realized that this shop was run by people that lack basic honesty. If I allowed them to service my car, they could come up any reason they wanted for unnecessary repairs. I would not be technically savvy enough to sort out truth, half truth, and total lies. So I decided to stop the work and leave. Yes, I wasted my afternoon. But at least I cut my losses.
