2010 Ford Expedition
1.9% Interest or $2,500 Cash Back
The 2010 Ford Expedition is the largest SUV sold by the Blue Oval. With room for up to 8 passengers, the Expedition is a solid choice as a minivan replacement. It also provides formidable cargo space – 108.3 cubic feet are available in total with the second and third row of seating folded flat. The Expedition comes in a number of different trim levels, with the base XLT offering a leather-wrapped steering wheel, rear air conditioning, an MP3-capable stereo system and appearance items such as fog lights and running boards. Like the F-150 pickup truck whose full-size frame it shares, the Expedition can also be ordered in luxurious King Ranch trim, which upgrades interior amenities to include Chaparral leather seats, leather trim, heated and cooled front captain’s chairs, and dual climate controls.
There is only a single engine option available in the 2010 Ford Expedition, a 310 horsepower, 5.4-liter V-8 that also produces 365 lb-ft of torque. Matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Expedition is capable of towing up to 9,200 lbs, a feat made easier thanks to its standard Trailer Sway Control system. Four-wheel drive is also available across all editions of the Expedition. Fuel mileage for the full-size SUV is rated at 14 miles per gallon in the city and 18 miles per gallon on the highway for two-wheel drive models.
There is a financing incentive of 1.9% interest or $2,500.00 cash back on the 2010 Ford Expedition effective until 10/05/2009.
2009 Chevrolet Avalanche
0.0% Interest or $4,500 Cash Back
The 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche combines the best features of a full-size pickup truck with the convenience and security of a sport-utility vehicle. This not-quite crossover can seat up to 6 passengers, but it can also see its interior and exterior cargo space combined together thanks to the use of GM’s Midgate technology. A removable partition between the rear seating area and the pickup truck bed expands the area behind the cab (protected by a tonneau cover) to a full 8 feet in length, creating a very useful space for hauling a wide variety of bulky materials. Dual climate controls, a split front bench and OnStar are standard equipment, while leather buckets, a Bose sound system and 20-inch wheels can be had as part of the LTZ2 package.
The 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche comes with a 5.3-liter V-8 engine out of the box. With 310 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque, the base Avalanche offers decent performance for both hauling and towing. Those with larger trailers will want to order the optional 6.0-liter V-8 that bumps output up to 366 horses and 376 lb-ft of torque and increases towing capacity to just over 8,000 lbs. A 6-speed automatic transmission is the sole gearbox for either engine, and two or four-wheel drive are options. The 5.3-liter returns fuel economy numbers of 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon during highway cruising – somewhat better than its larger counterpart.
There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $4,500.00 cash back on the 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche effective until 12/02/2009.
2010 Lincoln MKS
0.0% Interest or $1,000 Cash Back
The 2010 Lincoln MKS makes a fashionable, mid-size luxury statement thanks to its edgy front-end design and clean overall body proportions. More distinctive than some of the other, plainer vehicles it competes with in the entry-level luxury segment, the MKS is also a technological tour de force, incorporating a number of interesting features and systems to help lure buyers behind the wheel. These include a voice-activated DVD navigation system, a rearview camera, forward parking sensors, rain-sensitive windshield wipers and electronic stability control. Adaptive HID headlights with auto dimming and a push button start round out the list of gadgets that adorn the sedan’s leather-lined interior – accommodations which are impressively large for a mid-size vehicle.
The 2010 Lincoln MKS adds an eye-opening new drivetrain for 2010, the EcoBoost V-6 with all-wheel drive. Thanks to twin-turbochargers, this 3.5-liter unit produces 355 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, while providing better fuel economy than its base engine: 17 miles per gallon around town and 25 miles per gallon on the highway. In contrast, the standard 3.7-liter V-6 found in the MKS generates 273 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque while sipping fuel at the rate of 16 miles per gallon city and 23 miles per gallon highway for the all-wheel drive version. A 6-speed automatic transmission handles the gear shifting duties.
There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest and $1,000.00 cash back on the 2010 Lincoln MKS effective until 10/05/2009.
2010 GMC Acadia
$1,000 Cash Back
The 2010 GMC Acadia further blurs the line between truck-based SUV’s and their full-size crossover equivalents. The automobile platform that the Acadia rides on is far more comfortable and responsive than any full-frame truck, yet it still manages to offer the extra passenger room and cargo space expected by shoppers in this segment. Three rows of seating are comfortable for up to 8 passengers, and a stunning 117 cubic feet of total cargo space are available with the rear seats out of the picture. This is in addition to a 24 cubic foot “trunk” found behind the final row. The Acadia is not a particularly luxurious contender, but it does make available such niceties as a heads-up display, navigation, a two-panel sunroof and heated and cooled front seats. Rear entertainment in the form of a DVD player can also be ordered.
Although the 2010 GMC Acadia comes in both two and four-wheel drive flavors, there is but a single engine sold across the entire line. The 3.6-liter V-6 found underneath the Acadia’s hood provides 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, and is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The most efficient Acadian, the front-puller, returns fuel economy numbers of 17 miles per gallon in stop and go driving and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.
There is an incentive of $1,000.00 cash back on the 2010 GMC Acadia effective until 11/02/2009.
2009 Toyota Avalon
$500 Cash Back
The 2009 Toyota Avalon is the Japanese automaker’s flagship sedan, a full-size vehicle focused on comfort, grace and style. The Avalon boasts a considerable amount of refinement as well as Toyota’s built-in quality and reliability. With plenty of room for up to 5 passengers as well as a reasonable 14.4 cubic feet of trunk space, this four-door automobile makes an excellent road-trip cruiser. The vehicle does a solid job of isolating driver and occupants from the shocks of the road and street noises common to modern travel. In terms of equipment, all Avalon’s come with a power driver’s seat, dual climate controls and cloth seats, with upgrades to leather hides, a power moonroof, and HID headlights also available. Laser-guided cruise control can be ordered on the top of the line Limited trim level.
The 2009 Toyota Avalon comes through in the power department with a healthy 3.5-liter V-6 engine that produces a feisty 268 ponies and 248 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission sends all of that motivation to the vehicle’s front wheels. The Avalon benefits from above-average fuel economy for such a large car, showing 19 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway.
There is an incentive of $500.00 cash back on the 2009 Toyota Avalon effective until 10/05/2009.
