2009 Chrysler Aspen
0.0% Interest or $4,500 Cash Back

The 2009 Chrysler Aspen is an upscale, full-size sport-utility vehicle that is meant to offer a ton of interior room along with the grunt required to tow a heavy boat or camping trailer. With smooth exterior lines and Chrysler’s classy front grille, the Aspen manages to not overwhelm with its size. Inside, the Aspen’s 102 cubic feet of cargo storage is complemented nicely by seating for up to 8 passengers, as well as a full range of available comfort features: heated leather seats, wood trim, a sunroof and hard drive-based entertainment system.

The base model 2009 Chrysler Aspen is outfitted with a 4.7-liter V-8 engine that generates a respectable 303 horsepower and 308 lb-ft of torque on its way to fuel mileage numbers of 14 miles per gallon in the city, and 19 miles per gallon on the highway. A 376 horsepower, 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 is also available, although it gives up a few miles per gallon comparedto the smaller motor. For those looking to squeeze a little more distance from a tank of gas, there is also the Aspen Hybrid, which steps with a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 assisted by battery-powered electric motors to produce 345 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Despite its large engine, the Hybrid returns fuel mileage of 20 miles per gallon in stop and go driving, and 22 miles per gallon during highway cruising. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard on the gasoline powered V-8s, while the Hybrid sees the installation of a continuously-variable automatic. Hybrid’s are also available exclusively with four-wheel drive, while all other editions of the Aspen can choose a two-wheel option.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $4,500.00 cash back on the 2009 Chrysler Aspen effective until 10/31/2009.

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer
0.0% Interest or $1,500 Cash Back

The 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer compact sedan is a fun and frugal alternative to other entry-level cars like the Honda Civic or the Toyota Corolla. Like many compacts, the Lancer can be ordered with just basic running gear – cloth seats and steel wheels – or it can be upgraded to include such niceties as air conditioning, keyless entry, and a sunroof. There is even a sport package available called the Ralliart, which swaps in performance seats, an aggressive exterior aero package and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. A navigation system is also available.

The 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer is available with a surprising number of engine options. Each four-cylinder unit offered in the sedan is aimed at a specific type of buyer. The base 2.0-liter found in the DE and ES model puts out 152 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, and its mileage rating of 22 miles per gallon in the city and 30 miles per gallon on the highway makes it appealing to drivers who prize fuel efficiency. The quicker Lancer GTS is matched with a 168 horsepower, 2.4-liter engine that also produces 167 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy for this engine is slightly lower than that of the 2.0. The real prize to be had in terms of speed comes with the Ralliart edition of the Lancer, which uses a turbocharger to develop 237 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0-liter engine. It also swaps in all-wheel drive in place of the lesser Lancers’ front-wheel drive setup, albeit with a noticeable fuel consumption penalty. The ES and DS come with a five-speed manual, the GTS adds the availability of a continuously-variable transmission, and the Ralliart is exclusively offered with a six-speed twin-clutch semi-automatic.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $1,500.00 cash back on the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer effective until 11/02/2009.

2009 GMC Canyon Extended or Crew Cab
0.0% Interest or $2,000 Cash Back

The 2009 GMC Canyon (regular cab pictured) represents the first step on the GMC truck ladder. This mid-size pickup provides much of the hauling capacity of a larger vehicle without the parking issues and unimpressive fuel economy that typically come with one. Six-foot and five-foot cargo beds are available, and the Canyon’s Extended or Crew Cab body styles offer an extra degree of passenger accommodation, with seating for up to five in total. The Canyon can be decked out as a basic work truck, or it can be customized with a variety of sport and off-road suspensions, as well as other options such as four-wheel drive, fender flares and a locking rear differential.

A 185 horsepower, four-cylinder engine that also provides 190 lb-ft of torque is the bread and butter engine found in the 2009 GMC Canyon, but a more robust five-cylinder motor provides a livelier option. Displacing 3.7-liters, and cranking out 242 horsepower and 242 lb-ft of torque, it also offers fuel mileage of 17 miles per gallon around town and 23 miles per gallon on the highway – merely 1 mile per gallon below that of the four-cylinder. A 5.3-liter V-8 engine can also be ordered for buyers seeking the ultimate in mid-size utility. Its 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque will make short work of almost any load, but this extra motivation drops fuel mileage to 15 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. A five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission are available for the four-cylinder, while all other engines are four-speed only.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest or $2,000.00 cash back on the 2009 GMC Canyon Extended or Crew Cab effective until 11/02/2009.

2009 Kia Sorento
$3,000 Cash Back

The 2009 Kia Sorento stands apart from other attractively-priced sport-utility vehicles in that it draws from a full-frame truck chassis asopposed to using a car-based platform like most crossovers. Although the extra strength and off-road ability brought on by this design decision does require the sacrifice of some on-road comfort, overall the Sorento manages to blend adventure and good road manners toa degree acceptable to the majority of buyers. The Kia SUV can seat five and also accommodate a fair amount of cargo in the “trunk” between the rear seatback and the liftgate, and it comes fairly well equipped right out of the box, thanks to the inclusion of air conditioning, cruise control and a CD player. Leather seats, dual climate controls and a rear spoiler can also be added on.

The 2009 Kia Sorento is powered by one of two V-6 engines. The first is a 3.3-liter design rated at 242 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. The second is a 3.8-liter that increases output to 262 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Both feature a five-speed automatic transmission, and both can be equipped with low-range four-wheel drive. The smaller motor returns fuel mileage numbers of 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway, while the 3.8-liter decreases each measure by 1 mile per gallon, respectively.

There is an incentive of $3,000.00 cash back on the 2009 Kia Sorento effective until 11/02/2009.

2009 Mercury Milan
0.0% Interest and $1,000 Cash Back

The 2009 Mercury Milan sedan provides a softer counterpoint to the aggressive styling of its Ford Fusion stable mate. It also provides much more interior room than its size would suggest, with enough space to carry up to five adults on short trips without any complaints. The Milan’s features list is quite competitive in the mid-size market, with keyless entry, air conditioning, a full range of power accessories and even heated mirrors coming with the base model. If desired, Mercury will gladly outfit the Milan with leather, a voice-activated navigation system, a moonroof and even rear parking assist.

The 2009 Mercury Milan’s standard engine is a 2.3-liter, four-cylinder that is tuned to provide 160 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage comes in at arespectable 20 miles per gallon around town and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. A 3.0-liter V-6 can upgrade the sedan’s performance thanks to the addition of 81 extra ponies and 205 lb-ft of torque, although fuel efficiency falls to 18 miles per gallon city and 26 miles per gallon during highway cruising. The four-cylinder can be shifted through either a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission, while the V-6 benefits from a six-speed auto and the availability of all-wheel drive.

There is a financing incentive of 0.0% interest and $1,000.00 cash back on the 2009 Mercury Milan effective until 11/02/2009.
