MPG: 2009 Infiniti FX50 - The 2009 Infiniti FX50 replaces the 2008 Infiniti FX45. The name change is a result of the new 5.0-liter DOHC V8 engine that delivers 390 horsepower and 369 lb-ft. of torque. The 2009 FX50 adds an additional 70 horsepower to the top-tier FX model. The FX35's 7-speed automatic transmission remains for the FX50, as does the CVTCS engine technology. The larger engine also includes Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) technology, which enhances overall performance, miles per gallon and vehicle emissions. The 2009 Infiniti FX50 is only available with all-wheel drive, which delivers the following EPA fuel estimates:
