The GMC Acadia is not only the first ever crossover from GMC’s “Professional Grade” line of trucks, but it is also the company’s first front-wheel drive passenger vehicle. The Acadia comes standard with a direct-injected V-6 and is offered in either front- or four-wheel drive. With seating for up to seven passengers and a 4,500-pound maximum towing capacity, the Acadia is able to handle the duties of a full-size SUV, while providing the fuel efficiency similar to a smaller crossover. The GMC Acadia comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain and gets an estimated 22-24 mpg on the highway.
