After more than 25 years, Dodge has revived the Challenger nameplate for use on a retro-designed, two-door muscle car. Although, initial sales were limited to the performance-tuned Challenger SRT8, more efficient V-6 and V-8 models have joined the linup. The Dodge Challenger R/T features a powerful HEMI® V-8 with cylinder deactivation for increased fuel efficiency. The Challenger SRT8 features a 425-horsepower V-8 in addition to looks similar to the original model. Non-SRT8 Dodge Challengers come with a lifetime powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 25 mpg on the highway.
