As Cadillac continues its return to success after the slow sales and bland designs that plagued the company in the 1990s, the new designs and more powerful engines should help Cadillac perform at the same competitive level as its European and Japanese counterparts. The CTS continues to be one of Cadillac's strongest competitors, while the Escalade continues to offer differing levels of luxury ranging from the top-of-the-line Platinum edition to the Two-Hybrid model. For performance enthusiasts, Cadillac's high-performance V-Series is available on the CTS, STS and XLR. As with other GM vehicles, the convenience of OnStar is standard on Saturn vehicles is free for the first year.
