In 2001, Acura launched the MDX, joining the popular midsize, luxury SUV craze. After the launch of the smaller RDX five years later, the RDX was able to grow in size and offer a third row seat with available seating for seven passengers. Using the same powerful engine as the RL, the MDX provides abundant amounts cargo and towing capacities in addition to performance and luxury capabilities consumers expect from Acura vehicles. The Acura MDX comes with a four-year/50,000-mile warranty and gets an estimated 20 mpg on the highway.
