Honda entered the highly profitable minivan market in 1995 using a rebadged version of the Isuzu Oasis that they named, the Odyssey. In 1999, Honda designed its own version of the van to compete directly with the top selling minivans from other competitors. As the minivan market continued to evolve, so did the Odyssey to include such features as fold flat seats, roll down windows in the sliding doors and entertainment systems for rear passengers. The Honda Odyssey comes with a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and gets an estimated 23 mpg on the highway.
